SevenCollar T-Shirt (SCTS), among the pioneers of independent rock bands in Malaysia, first broke into the scene in the 90s with their own flavor of alternative rock. Consisting of Saiful Ridzuan (vocals, guitars), Muhammad (guitars ), Adil Ali (drums) and Keng Lee (bass), they have released 2 EPs and 3 albums since 1997.

Their 2009 release "The Great Battle" (Laguna Records) is their most expressive release to date, featuring beautiful textures, haunting rhythms and captivating poetry, all executed with conviction.

Having proved their worth in their earlier releases,"The Great Battle" showcases SCTS' song-writing prowess. Well-placed sonic candies are found throughout the record, taking the listener through a journey, a characteristic shared with many notable records in history.
